The front garden:
Paul has made a bigger border on the right hand side and planted loads of flowers this year which are just so pretty. My favourites are the sweetpeas which are starting to flower and smell so lovely. The rose at the front of the picture above is also very pretty and smells of sherbert!
The back garden:
Paul has done an amazing job this year. In this picture we have Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Peas, Broad Beans, Strawberries, Onions, Carrots, Spinach, Chard, Sprouts, Parsnips, Onions, Sweetcorn, Garlic, Blueberries, Beetroot, Radishes, Rocket, Courgettes and Potatoes. I think that is about it, so much for a small space but he loves his vegetables and has green fingers! We have already been able to eat the chard and the spinach is about ready too.

Disaster - Flood
In July we were unfortunately hit by very heavy rain which flooded our house.
Inside on the carpets that were laid three months before....
And outside in the garden my Mum had just spent hours tidying up. These pictures were taken once the water had gone down enough so we could get into the house - it was much worse!

Paul attacks the jungle
Tuesday, May 8, 2007
Outside
I already have a hanging basket - and I have planted some clematis, honeysuckle and jasmine to go over the arches.
The grass has been mown and the house looks lovely from the front.
The back garden looks like a jungle now. Paul cannot stand it but I really wanted to get everything straight inside before we start on the back garden.
I love my pom pom tree.
The weeds are huge!!!!! This one comes up to my waist now.
I made Paul a little herb garden as a present.
This is actually gone now but for a while we had our very own modern art sculpture in the back garden. We called it Chav Garden.
