The Kitchen Part 3
This is how the kitchen looks now we have finished the walls and everything is out.

No photos - sorry!
We keep fogetting to take the camera round!
I will do some tomorrow.
Lots happening, we have finished stripping the kitchen and we have completely sorted out the walls. We have gone on a bit of a mission this week - ordered lino and carpets and worktops.
Paul is round there now, he bought a new sander for the woodwork (a little one, as the big one his Mum gave us - Bertha - is really noisy and we feel bad using it at night) so he has gone to play. I have a cracking headache so I have passed tonight.
The heating people are coming on Monday so this weekend we are going to get as much sanding and undercoating of the rooms done that we can. At some point we also have to go and buy the rest of the kitchen, I am just waiting to speak to Russell and get it all finalised.
Apart from that I am slowly scraping away the wallpaper in the toilet. You can shut me in there and I am happy for hours.

Kitchen Part 2
Today we attacked the rest of the kitchen! First the cupoard in the corner, then it was time for the sink!
Gone!
We took the tiles off and sanded the walls.
Then filled in all of the walls. Then more sanding. More sanding and more sanding and more sanding!
Tomorrow we have to do some more sanding! Then we are going to put a coat of paint on the walls to tidy it up a bit. All we will need to do then is get rid of the old lino and lay the new and it will be ready for Dad and Russell to come and work their magic.

Tonight's little project
Tonight we went round and took some more measurements for my brother for the kitchen and counted light switches and plug sockets and measured windows.
Then we attacked the wallpaper in the batchroom. That was fun!!! It is only half done at the moment.

Asbestos Gone!
On Tuesday the men came and took out the asbestos tile which was on the door in the hallway and the flue that went from there to the roof.
They had to take the vent out which has left us a nice whole. We are hoping that the heating guys will fill this one in when they come and take the old system out.
