Monday is offically our night off which is nice. We both have tons going on at work as well as all the extra work on the house so we need the odd evening to recover!
We also bought most of the kitchen this weekend. We have to go back and get some final pieces, (the long bits which might only just fit into my car - gulp!), and the worktops are being delivered on Friday.
Also happening this week - we will try and sort out the plumbing in the kitchen so we can finally switch the water on. The lino is being fitted in the kitchen. We have to paint the ceiling and woodwork in the kitchen. The fascias are being done for the roof on Thursday and Friday. The plastering in the kitchen, the front room (2 walls) and the main bedroom ceiling. The man is coming to walk through what they will doing with the heating. Finally, on Saturday the rest of the work is being done on the roof.
So, not much then!
